Tire wear

Did you know that your vehicle could be in danger and you not even know about it? In the automotive industry there has been a saying that tires and brakes are the two most important elements of your vehicle. A quick monthly tire inspection will keep you save and secure. Check tire pressure once a month to keep you tires wearing even, and keep your gas bill down. Improper tire wear could even cause your car to pull to the right or left causing your vehicle to have a misaligned sensation. Dry rotted tires is a common finding in to-days vehicle that can be extremely dangerous. With up to 70% of stopping force transferring to the front of your vehicle when stopping, a strong set of tires will eliminate the possibility of having a tire belt separate due to your tires being dry rotted.

Brakes

Most people wait to get their brake replaced when their brakes start to make noise. The fact is that by the time your brakes start to make noise your vehicles brake system has been damaged due to not replacing a brake component when recommend. A free quick brake inspection will keep you save and save you money due to discovering a possible brake failure before it happens. Please take the time to bring your vehicle in to our facility for a free brake inspection.

Oil Change

When should I get an oil change? How important is an oil change? Can not getting my oil change in a timely manner hurt my vehicles performance? To answer these questions it is important to understand what an oil change is. Performing an oil change replaces the internal engine oil and oil filter. The oil inside of your vehicle maintains your vehicle lubricated under extreme vehicle temperature conditions that create friction. Performing an oil change when recommend by the vehicle's manufacture is extremely important due to the oil inside your vehicle loosing is original state due to the chemicals that make up the oil being vanished trough usage. Getting an oil change has become more confusing throughout time. Some vehicle manufactures recommend to have your vehicles oil change every 15 thousand miles or once a year. Others recommend every 6 months or 7500 miles. The best recommendation to replace your oil is to refer to your owners Manuel and refer to the oil change interval that your vehicles manufacture recommends.

There is nothing worse that getting prepared to use a spare tire and the tire being flat. Make sure that your vehicle's Jack is in good working operation. Make sure that the correct tools are present to remove your tire from the vehicle if needed. It is a great idea to carry a set of battery jumper cables. Cables can be purchased in your local auto parts store for as low as 8 dollars in most cases. Finally it is highly important to carry a first aid kit in your vehicle.
